The business partner, Exwold Technology Ltd are a progressive and growing contract chemical processing company based in Hartlepool. They specialise in formulation and processing for the crop protection and speciality chemicals markets.


This position is initially for a 36-month fixed term contract. Although you will be employed by Teesside University you will be working at the business partner premises day to day.

The appointed candidate will have 20 days holiday (plus bank holidays) and access to a dedicated £6k training budget tailored towards their personal development. They will have access to industry leading technology and supervision from a leading academic research team from Teesside University.


This KTP aims to develop an AI-enabled digital twin platform that models, monitors, and optimises Exwold Technology Ltd's chemical manufacturing processes in real time to improve efficiency. The project will embed data analytics and predictive maintenance to reduce waste and enhance productivity.

Due to the minimum salary thresholds imposed by the UKVI, this post may qualify for University sponsorship under the Skilled Worker visa route.
