Summary
Masstemps are currently recruiting for a Press Brake Setter/Operator on behalf of JTB Pressings based in Wolverhampton.
The successful candidate will be responsible for setting and operating press brake machinery to produce high-quality metal components in line with engineering drawings and production requirements. This role requires strong technical ability, attention to detail, and experience working within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
Set and operate press brake machines
Read and interpret engineering drawings and job specifications
Select correct tooling and adjust machine settings accordingly
Produce parts to required tolerances and quality standards
Carry out first-off inspections and in-process quality checks
Perform routine machine maintenance and basic fault finding
Ensure all work is completed within agreed production times
Maintain a clean and safe working environment
Skills & Experience Required
Proven experience as a Press Brake Setter/Operator
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
Experience working with sheet metal
Knowledge of tooling setup and machine adjustment
Strong attention to detail and quality standards
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Good understanding of health and safety within a manufacturing setting
Desirable
Experience with CNC press brake machines
Previous experience within a similar manufacturing environment
