Job Title: Registered Manager – Adults & Children (Clinical & Complex Needs)
Location: West Midlands – Multiple Service Locations
Contract: Full Time, Permanent
Salary: £42,000 plus car allowance

We are seeking a highly experienced Registered Manager to oversee and lead multiple teams across the West Midlands. This is a key leadership role within a service that supports children, young people and adults with learning disabilities, autism, behaviours of concern and a wide range of complex clinical and health needs. Our teams deliver specialist support that includes tracheostomy care, epilepsy management, gastrostomy (PEG) feeding, medication administration and delegated healthcare tasks.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a values‑driven organisation where you can influence standards, develop teams, and ensure exceptional care across several service locations. If you are passionate about high‑quality practice and enjoy working in a varied, regional role, this could be the ideal next step in your career.

ABOUT OUR SERVICE
Our services support people of all ages with complex needs, including communication support, sensory needs, mobility and postural needs, tracheostomy care, epilepsy, mental health needs and behaviours of concern. We provide structured, person‑centred, trauma‑informed support designed to promote wellbeing, independence, dignity and positive life outcomes. Teams work closely with health professionals, therapists, social care teams, families and education providers to deliver holistic and consistent care.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead, support and develop multiple staff teams across several West Midlands locations.
  • Ensure high‑quality, person‑centred care for adults, children and young people.
  • Oversee clinical tasks including tracheostomy care, gastrostomy feeding, suctioning, epilepsy management and delegated healthcare procedures.
  • Maintain strong clinical governance, safe delegation and ongoing competency checks.
  • Ensure full compliance with CQC regulations and internal quality standards.
  • Lead safeguarding practice for both adults and children.
  • Oversee risk assessments, behaviour support plans, clinical records and incident reporting.
  • Manage staffing, rotas, recruitment and workforce planning.
  • Oversee service budgets, resources and operational requirements.
  • Build strong relationships with families, health professionals, commissioners and wider partners.
  • Drive continuous improvement, reflective practice and a positive service culture.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

  • Experience in a managerial or supervisory role within adult or children’s social care.
  • Experience supporting individuals with clinical and complex needs, including delegated healthcare tasks.
  • Knowledge or experience of tracheostomy care, gastrostomy care or complex clinical protocols (training can be provided).
  • Strong safeguarding knowledge for both adults and children.
  • Ability to lead multi‑site teams and maintain consistent standards across different locations.
  • Strong communication, decision‑making and organisational skills.
  • A compassionate, calm and values‑driven leadership style.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Adult Care (or willingness to complete).
  • Relevant clinical training desirable but not essential.
  • Enhanced DBS required.

WHAT WE OFFER

  • Competitive salary and benefits package.
  • Supportive and collaborative senior leadership.
  • Opportunities to influence service design and regional development.
  • A rewarding role where you can genuinely make a difference.
