Join Hyde as a Learning & Development Officer

At Hyde, learning is key to delivering great services to our customers. As our Learning & Development Officer, you’ll work closely with managers and teams to identify skills gaps, design practical learning solutions, and deliver engaging programmes that make a real impact.

This is a hands-on role where you’ll design and deliver learning, manage external training providers, and use data to ensure our investment in development improves performance, engagement, and customer outcomes.

The key things about the role

Be the main L&D contact for managers, helping them identify learning needs and practical development solutions.
Design and deliver engaging workshops, blended learning programmes, coaching and e-learning.
Support induction and ongoing professional development across the organisation.
Commission and manage external training providers, ensuring quality and value for money.
Monitor training budgets, maintain accurate records, and produce clear reports on activity and outcomes.
Evaluate the effectiveness of learning and continuously improve our offer in line with Hyde’s priorities and values.
What You’ll Bring

Experience designing, delivering and evaluating a range of learning solutions, including workshops, coaching and digital learning.
Strong ability to build relationships and influence managers to embed learning into everyday practice.
Experience managing suppliers, monitoring budgets and ensuring high-quality delivery.
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and maintain accurate records.
Clear and confident communication skills, both written and verbal.
