Are you a results-driven, qualified accounting professional, passionate about delivering a value-added customer focussed service?

We're looking for a qualified Management Accountant, experienced in complex and consolidated accounts, to join our fabulous team and support in the delivery of a high-quality management accounting service to the Group.This is an exciting time to join us as we continue to transform our finance function. As our Management Accountant, you'll:

-Assist in the delivery of accurate, relevant and timely management accounts which support decision making for all aspects of the group and manage risk.

-Ensure that financial transactions are accurately recorded and reported.

-Produce monthly management accounts for all group members, including consolidation.

-Produce the annual consolidated budget, in conjunction with the wider finance teams.

-Maintain a suite of relevant Key Performance Indicators.

-Work with the Finance Business Partnering team to provide comprehensive commentary to support performance both on an actual and forecast basis, to support decision making and risk mitigation.

-Maintain the group's other fixed assets register.

-Establish collaborative relationships with a range of stakeholders, showing pragmatism and support for the group's objectives.

What you'll need to have?

-Be a Qualified Accountant, experienced within a large, complex organisation with significant budgets

-Previous Housing sector experience is highly desirable

-Proven experience of completing primary accounting statements

-Experience of liaising with internal and external auditors

-Ability to work collaboratively with finance and non-finance colleagues to achieve results

-Passionate about developing and delivering an excellent customer driven service to differing audiences and stakeholders

-Good knowledge and understanding of Accounting Standards

-Great ability to interpret information, carry out research, analyse complex data, appraise performance; understand and manage risk & compliance matters

-Experience of using digital technology within a finance environment

-A proven track record of delivering results in a fast-paced and changing environment

While this role is mainly a home-based, regular travel to Group offices at Birmingham Business Park Solihull and Central Park, Worcester will be required.
