Our client, a renowned educational institution in Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, is seeking a talented and dedicated Full-time SEN (Special Educational Needs) Teacher to join their dynamic team. This exciting opportunity will allow you to make a meaningful impact on the lives of students with diverse learning needs, while working in a supportive and collaborative environment.

As a Full-time SEN Teacher, you will be responsible for designing and delivering engaging, individualised lessons that cater to the unique requirements of students with special educational needs. Your role will involve working closely with a multidisciplinary team, including educational psychologists, therapists, and support staff, to ensure the holistic development and well-being of each student in your care.

Your primary duties will include, but are not limited to:
- Assessing and identifying the specific learning needs of each student, and developing and implementing tailored educational plans to address those needs
- Employing a diverse range of teaching methods, strategies, and assistive technologies to facilitate student learning and progress
- Collaborating with parents, caregivers, and other professionals to ensure a coordinated and consistent approach to supporting each student's educational and personal goals
- Maintaining detailed records of student progress, and regularly communicating with relevant stakeholders to provide updates and inform decision-making
- Participating in professional development opportunities to stay up-to-date with the latest best practices and innovations in the field of special education
- Fostering a inclusive, nurturing, and engaging classroom environment that promotes the social, emotional, and academic growth of all students

Our client is offering a competitive daily rate of £150 - £200 for this Full-time SEN Teacher position, recognising the invaluable expertise and dedication required to excel in this role. To be considered for this role, you will need to possess the following qualifications and skills:
- A bachelor's degree in Education, with a specialisation in Special Education or a related field
- A valid teaching certification or license, with experience teaching students with special educational needs
- Demonstrated expertise in developing and implementing individualised education plans (IEPs) and behaviour intervention plans
- Proficiency in using assistive technologies and adaptive teaching methods to support student learning
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with students, parents, and colleagues
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine commitment to supporting the unique needs of each student
- Strong organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritise effectively
- Creativity and adaptability in designing engaging and effective learning experiences
- A collaborative mindset and the ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking skills to address the diverse challenges that may arise in the classroom
