Job Introduction

At Sodexo, we know that great service starts behind the scenes. We are currently recruiting a reliable and organised Stores Person to support our kitchen operations and ensure the smooth, safe, and hygienic handling of all deliveries and storage areas.

Inthis key back-of-house role, you will be responsible for managing stockeffectively, maintaining clean and well-organised storage spaces, coordinatinglaundry distribution, and supporting the wider kitchen team with generaloperational duties. Your attention to detail and commitment to food safetystandards will help keep the kitchen running efficiently while upholdingSodexo’s high standards of safety, hygiene, and service excellence.

Whatyou’ll do:

  • Receive and check all deliveries in line with legal and company procedures, reporting any discrepancies
  • Record food temperatures on arrival and ensure correct labelling, dating, and FIFO-compliant storage
  • Distribute stock to relevant departments promptly and efficiently
  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation of all storage areas, fridges, and kitchen spaces
  • Manage kitchen laundry collection and distribution, and complete daily and deep cleaning tasks
  • Adhere to all food hygiene, Health & Safety, and COSHH regulations while supporting general kitchen duties as required

What you bring:

  • Strong attention to detail with a focus on accuracy
  • Reliable, punctual, and dependable
  • Able to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
  • Basic Food Safety knowledge (Level 2 preferred)
  • Good time management and organisational skills
