Crynodeb
To coordinate the nursing care of all patients attending the Emergency Department To provide clinical leadership to the nursing team within the Emergency Department to ensure high standards of patient care are maintained To take charge of the Emergency Department and manage all resources effectively To ensure quality standards and Emergency Department targets are adhered to and met To manage and lead a specific team of nursing staff, including Human resources, Staff appraisals / personnel issues and disciplinary procedures. To support the Emergency Department OSM, Clinical Lead Nurse / Modern Matron, and clinical leads To role model compassionate and inclusive leadership in order to shape the creation of a collective leadership culture within the trust. This means demonstrating a consistent leadership style which (a) engages, enables and empowers others (b) uses coaching to promote ownership of learning and quality improvement and (c) facilitates team working and collaboration within teams / departments and across organisational boundaries.
