We are seeking a Shift Technician to deliver a world-class, consistent building maintenance service for our stakeholders.

​In this role, you will provide electrical and building services engineering maintenance across a variety of client properties within the designated region.

This includes fault finding, repairs, maintenance and installation across electrical systems, mechanical assets and general building fabric.

Job Description

We are looking for someone who takes pride in high-quality service delivery and works proactively to meet customer expectations.​

You will support both planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive tasks, representing the company professionally and ensuring all work meets required safety and performance standards.

Key Responsibilities

Carry out electrical PPM, proactive and reactive maintenance tasks issued through the helpdesk within agreed timeframes.

Deliver additional building services maintenance including fabric, HVAC, mechanical and associated tasks.

Conduct fault finding, repairs and installation works to a professional standard.

Ensure all electrical equipment operates to the required performance criteria.

Maintain equipment and surrounding areas to agreed company standards.

Monitor and control contractors, ensuring workmanship meets required standards and issuing Permits to Work where needed.

Liaise proactively with clients, ensuring concerns are resolved or escalated appropriately.

Ensure correct servicing and maintenance of all equipment covered under contract.

Professional and Personal Competencies/Qualifications

City & Guilds Level 3 and NVQ 2356 AM2.

Good experience in electrical building services maintenance including fault finding, maintenance, installation and inspection/testing.

Good experience delivering both reactive and PPM building services maintenance.

Experience working within FM or building services in commercial properties.

Experience following strict Health & Safety procedures, including risk assessments and method statements.

Even better with:

City & Guilds 2391 or 2394/5 Inspection & Testing qualification.
