Large Consultancy - End Client is a Government Body
Your new role
We are seeking a Technical Support Professional to provide operational support across a range of critical applications deployed on a common platform within a secure government environment. The role involves monitoring incident management queues, performing first‑line investigation, applying initial remediation, and contributing to the rollout of system enhancements and patches.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide day‑to‑day support for a range of production IT services and critical applications.
- Monitor incident management queues and respond in line with service expectations.
- Perform initial technical triage and implement authorised remediation steps.
- Assist technical teams with deployment of enhancements, configuration updates, and patches.
- Produce high‑quality documentation and communicate effectively with internal stakeholders.
- Support continual service improvement initiatives.
What you'll need to succeed
- SC Clearance Eligible (Based in UK for 5 year)
- Logical, methodical problem‑solving approach.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office tools, including:
- Word
- PowerPoint
- Excel
- Teams
- SharePoint
- OneDrive
- Experience working with incident, problem, and change management processes.
- Background in supporting production IT services.
Desirable Skills
- Experience with Remedy incident management system.
- Experience with SharePoint On‑Premises configuration and support.
