The post holder will provide support to schools within the Mental Health Supportteam(MHST)usingthe‘Whole-schoolApproach’ toimprovethementalhealthandemotional wellbeing of children and young people in Harrow schools/colleges.



The post holder will work with the whole school community (teaching professionals, children, parents, volunteers, andsupport staff) to break down stigma around mental health issues, and support children tobecome more resilient so they are better equipped to understand and manage theiremotionsand behaviour.



This will involve working closely and collaboratively with a range of otherorganisationsandkeypartnerssupportingtheEarlyInterventionservices.



The post holder will be involved in the development and delivery of practical support, resources, training and psychoeducational sessions to school staff, otherprofessionals, students, and their parents/carers across Harrow. The hours of operation are Monday to Friday 9-5.

Thepostholderwillsupportthewhole‘System’thatistheNHS,LocalAuthorityand the third sector to a deliver high quality, effective and efficient service and system responses to:

· ImproveQualityofcare

The post holder will work as part of the MHST team providing support to CYP withinthecommunityunderthedirectorindirectsupervisionofseniorclinicalstaff.
