STUDENT EXPERIENCE ASSISTANT (FEES AND FUNDING)

Grade 4 £25,804 - £28,778 pa

Sitting within the Directorate of Student Experience and Enhancement and reporting to the Student Experience Co-ordinator, you will provide critical support for the processes relating to student fee raising and collection, the administration of scholarships and bursaries, and the reconciliation of SLC and other tuition fee income.

You will have a good understanding of accounting and/or double entry bookkeeping, with a high attention to detail. Your communication skills will be excellent, and you will have a flexible and adaptable approach to your work with an ability to operate effectively under periods of pressure.

All of these skills will be essential for your core responsibility – to provide an excellent experience to all of our users, one that is accurate, reliable, timely and effective.

You should have 3 GCSEs at Grade C or above (or equivalent) including English Language. The post is available on a full-time basis for 35 hours over 5 days working Monday to Friday each week.

The Fees and Funding Team work on a hybrid model with a minimum of 60% on campus/office attendance. Although there will be times when the on campus/office attendance is 100%.
