A forward-thinking inner-city secondary school in Manchester is seeking a dedicated Secondary Science Teacher (Physics) to join the team from September 2026. This is a full-time, permanent position. Applications are welcome from both ECTs and experienced teachers.
The Role
As a Science Teacher (Physics), you will:
• Deliver engaging, well-structured Science lessons across KS3 and KS4, with a strong Physics focus
• Inspire pupils to develop curiosity and confidence in STEM subjects
• Support practical investigations and enquiry-based learning
• Contribute to curriculum development within a supportive and ambitious Science department
• Play an active role in enrichment, including STEM clubs and whole-school initiatives

• Holds QTS with a Science/Physics specialism
• Demonstrates strong subject knowledge and effective classroom practice
• Has high expectations and a commitment to raising attainment
• Thrives in a diverse, inner-city school setting
