Science Teacher – Levenshulme
Full-Time - Temporary (ASAP – March 2026, with potential extension)
A secondary school in the Levenshulme area is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Science Teacher to join their team on a full-time, temporary basis. The position is available immediately and will run until March 2026, with the possibility of extension for the remainder of the academic year.
The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging and effective Science lessons at KS3 and GCSE level, supporting students of all abilities to achieve their full potential.
Key Responsibilities
• Teach KS3 and GCSE Science classes.
• Plan, deliver, and assess high-quality lessons.
• Monitor pupil progress and support student attainment.
• Contribute to curriculum planning and departmental initiatives.
• Collaborate effectively with staff, students, and parents.
Essential Requirements
• Recent experience teaching Science.
• Relevant teaching qualification with QTS.
• Proven experience teaching KS3 & GCSE.
• Current Enhanced DBS.
• Availability to start ASAP.
