Crynodeb
To screen asymptomatic patients attending the Sexual Health Service and be able to fully explain procedures, testing process and post procedural advice. To discuss and manage home test kit queries that come in through the online testing kit portal. Contacting adults who have flagged as a sexual assault on the home testing kit site and manage these patients within their own scope of practice by providing signposting and/or an appointment within the Sexual Health Department. Sending out the initial contact text for patients under 18 years who have flagged vulnerabilities on the home testing kit triage form. Competently referring patients to the Sexual Assault referral Centre (SARC). Independently downloading patient results from the online testing server onto the Services EPR system. To be competent in venepuncture. To dispose of clinical waste in accordance with infection control and waste management guidelines. To maintain and order stock levels within the service.
