Full time hours on a temporary basis
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the planning, delivery, and evaluation of public health programmes aligned to local and national priorities.
- Provide expert public health advice to internal teams, senior leaders and external partners.
- Analyse and interpret population health data to inform strategic decisions and service improvements.
- Develop evidence‑based policies, strategies, and interventions to address health inequalities.
- Prepare reports, business cases, and briefings for senior leadership and elected members.
- Oversee commissioned services, ensuring high‑quality performance and value for money.
- Build and maintain strong partnerships with the NHS, local authorities, community organisations, and wider stakeholders.
- Support emergency preparedness and health protection responses as required.
- Manage budgets and contribute to wider organisational planning.
