Public Health Manager needed in Gloucester Paying £274.42 per day ref 5287821

Full time hours on a temporary basis

Key Responsibilities

Lead the planning, delivery, and evaluation of public health programmes aligned to local and national priorities.
Provide expert public health advice to internal teams, senior leaders and external partners.
Analyse and interpret population health data to inform strategic decisions and service improvements.
Develop evidence‑based policies, strategies, and interventions to address health inequalities.
Prepare reports, business cases, and briefings for senior leadership and elected members.
Oversee commissioned services, ensuring high‑quality performance and value for money.
Build and maintain strong partnerships with the NHS, local authorities, community organisations, and wider stakeholders.
Support emergency preparedness and health protection responses as required.
Manage budgets and contribute to wider organisational planning.
