TCFM provides specialist operational support across multiple sites, ensuring our clients receive reliable, responsive service every day. Our office team plays a vital role in keeping operations running smoothly, supporting engineers, site support staff, and management with day‑to‑day coordination and communication.
We are now seeking a highly organised and efficient Office Administrator to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a structured, detail‑oriented environment and enjoys supporting a busy operational office.
Hours: 10am–2pm
Days: 3–4 days per week
Pay: £12.50 per hour (higher rate available for relevant experience)
Job Summary
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing daily administrative tasks, maintaining smooth office operations, and providing exceptional support to staff and clients. You will work closely with the Operations Director and the Senior Contracts Manager, contributing to the efficiency and professionalism of the office
Responsibilities
Managing incoming calls with professional phone etiquette and directing enquiries appropriately
Organising and maintaining files, records, and documentation in both physical and digital formats
Data entry using Microsoft Office, Microsoft Teams / Connect Teams, and internal systems to ensure accurate record keeping
Assisting with scheduling appointments, meetings, and setting up shifts for site support staff
Performing general clerical duties including photocopying, scanning, and mailing
Supporting team members with administrative tasks to enhance overall office efficiency
Managing correspondence via email and other communication channels
Ordering supplies and maintaining stock levels
Supporting social media posts and basic website updates
Ensuring the office environment remains tidy, organised, and professional at all times

Qualifications & Skills
Proven office or administrative experience
Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office and Microsoft Teams / Connect Teams
Good communication skills with professional phone etiquette
Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
Excellent typing speed and data entry accuracy
Attention to detail and ability to follow processes
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
Familiarity with office equipment such as printers, scanners, and telephones
Ideal: experience with invoicing, scheduling systems, or basic marketing/social media
