Description
The Early Years Assistant SC3 plays a crucial role in supporting the educational and developmental needs of young children in our care. This position is dedicated to fostering a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for children aged 0-5 years. As an Early Years Assistant, you will work closely with qualified teachers to implement educational activities that promote learning through play, exploration, and creativity. Your contributions will help to facilitate a positive and engaging experience for each child, ensuring they meet their developmental milestones and are prepared for future educational challenges. The role requires a high level of enthusiasm, patience, and commitment to providing the best possible care for children. You will engage in activities that support the physical, emotional, and social development of children, encouraging independence and confidence. Responsibilities
Assist in the planning and implementation of daily activities for children aged 0-5 years.
Support teachers in promoting positive behavior and emotional development.
Prepare and organize materials and resources for educational activities.
Help create a safe and welcoming environment for children and families.
Observe and document children's progress and development.
Engage with parents and caregivers to build supportive relationships and provide feedback.
Participate in training and professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.
Requirements
Minimum of a Level 2 qualification in Early Years Education or equivalent.
Experience working with young children in an educational or care setting.
Strong understanding of child development principles and practices.
Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
A commitment to creating an inclusive and supportive environment for all children.
Willingness to undergo background checks and comply with safeguarding policies.

Pay Per Hour: £14.40
