What skills and experience we're looking for

Required for 1 September 2026, the Trustees are seeking to appoint a well-qualified, experienced English teacher to teach English in our Free school, which opened to Year 7 only in September 2022 and in September 2026will have students in Y7 – 11. The ability to teach up to GCSE is essential and the ability to teach to A level desirable. The successful candidate will be a joining a team of highly experienced English teachers within the School who work collaboratively with staff at Barton Court Grammar School.

The successful candidate should be able to deliver excellence in the classroom, providing innovative and inspirational teaching and learning. This is an excellent opportunity for a suitably qualified and experienced candidate to work with colleagues to be part of a vibrant and outstanding department. This post is suitable for an experienced professional looking to further their expertise or an ECT starting their career.

A TLR for Head of Year (TLR2b)is also available to the right candidate.
