What skills and experience we're looking for
Immaculate Heart Catholic Primary School a Voluntary Academy of St Gregory the Great Multi-Academy Trust is looking to appoint an enthusiastic and creative Teaching Assistant to enhance the development and education of our pupils. Your role will be to support the pupils and to ensure that they access the curriculum and reach their full potential. This is a varied role that will require flexibility and a positive attitude. Starting as soon as possible, this is a part-time role.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a committed Teaching Assistant to make a difference to a pupil’s experience of education.
To be considered for Teaching Assistant position, you will have:
• An understanding or sympathetic view towards the Catholic ethos of the school
• A passion for teaching and learning and enabling all children to achieve success
• The ability to foster excellent professional relationships with children, parents and staff.
• Experience within a mainstream primary school or with working with children or young people
• A desire to become part of a committed and supportive school team
• The ability to use your own initiative and act accordingly and set high expectations of the pupils you will work with
