Production Manager - Basingstoke

Our client, a global leader in their industry, is seeking a skilled Production Manager for their Basingstoke facility. This is a fantastic opportunity to drive operational efficiency and champion standards within a dynamic team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage workshop activities: tooling, workflow, and staffing
  • Oversee quality of materials, processes, and products
  • Develop and implement employee training for production
  • Collaborate with cross-functional managers to optimise operational controls and improvements
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards (ISO 9001/14001/45001)
  • Investigate and resolve production issues, developing corrective actions and solutions
  • Identify and implement solutions to enhance business performance
  • Mentor team members and support skills development
  • Oversee process documentation and information sharing
  • Drive continuous planning for production scheduling
  • Contribute to growth plans for the business
  • Liaise with global teams to maintain operational alignment
  • Report on KPIs and support strategic planning

Candidate Profile:

  • Proven experience in production management within a technical or manufacturing environment
  • Strong problem-solving ability
  • Excellent organisational, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Familiarity with ISO standards and operational compliance
  • Demonstrable credentials as a team leader
  • Ability to implement cross-functional solutions and drive improvements
  • Meticulous record-keeping and deadline-driven
