We are seeking to appoint a new administration assistant, working 15 hours per week (5 afternoons) in our busy school office. This post is offered for 39 working weeks per year (term time plus 5 teacher days), and working hours will be 13:30 to 16:30 Monday to Friday.
Little Hill is a vibrant and friendly primary school which currently has just under 420 children on roll. The site also plays host to a small satellite base for Birkett House Special School. As a member of our supportive and hard-working office team you will contribute to the provision of an efficient administrative service to our staff, parents, pupils and the wider school community. Duties included in the role are:
Reception duties, acting as first point of contact for telephone and face-to-face enquiries and ensuring our security procedures for visitors are properly followed.
Assist the administration team to provide effective day to day support to the school community.
Receiving deliveries and purchasing support.
Support the maintenance of electronic pupil data and attendance tracking.
Maintain confidentiality of information at all times relating to pupil, staff and all school matters.
Supporting the Senior Leadership Team with administrative tasks
The successful candidate will need:
Excellent communication skills.
A good level of numeracy and literacy.
The ability to work as part of a team, showing flexibility.
Experience of working in an office environment.
Sound ICT and secretarial skills.
