Senior Solicitor Litigation needed in Runnymede

This is a temporary contract paying £260 per day PAYE

This is a temporary role

The reference number is: OR22161

The successful candidate will provide legal advice and services in respect of work falling with the remit of the section. The main function of the role is to work autonomously on complex civil litigation work including planning enforcement, property litigation, contract disputes, housing litigation, judicial review, commercial litigation, employment matters and associated areas. Both pre and post litigation and other related work as required, including:

  • Preparation of all aspects of cases
  • Representation including advocacy as required in the Magistrates, County and High Courts, Tribunals, Inquiries and representing management at internal appeals.
  • Undertake the general work of a local government solicitor as directed from time to time in particular
  • To carry a caseload of legal work, working independently/minimally supervised, within the lawyer’s specialism and to be responsible for completing all aspects of the task in accordance with good legal practice and client service.
