Receptionist

Location: Catalent Pharma Solutions, Franklands Road, Swindon, SN5 8RU

As a Receptionist, you will be responsible for the smooth day-to-day running of reception services, creating a professional and welcoming environment while supporting workplace operations and security procedures.

What you’ll do

  • Provide a professional and welcoming reception service for employees, visitors, and contractors

  • Ensure all visitors are registered with the gatehouse and follow site access procedures

  • Answer telephone calls in a polite, friendly, and professional manner

  • Support the smooth running of reception and assist the management team as required

  • Coordinate visitor arrivals, meeting room bookings, and front-of-house services

  • Order and issue site uniforms and stationery supplies

  • Prioritise tasks and respond efficiently to ad hoc requests

  • Escalate client concerns or complaints promptly to management

  • Liaise with internal teams to support seamless workplace operations

  • Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information appropriately

  • Follow site procedures, SOPs, and health & safety requirements at all times

  • Support compliance with fire, hygiene, COSHH, and safe working practices

What you’ll bring

  • Previous reception or customer service experience preferred

  • Ability to deliver a high level of customer service with a professional approach

  • Excellent communication skills and professional telephone manner

  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritise

  • Professional appearance and courteous manner at all times

  • Basic IT skills including email and Microsoft Excel

  • Discretion and integrity when handling confidential information

  • Ability to build positive working relationships across teams and with visitors
