Summary

Job Overview
-To ensure all subcontractor works delivered across site are managed safely and in accordance with the client subcontractor control process

-Liaison between subcontractor, Mitie and client ensuring excellent communications between all before, during and after works

-Issue General permits to work (PTW) ensuring the correct permits are in place for specific jobs.

-Provide assurance by reviewing permits and documents at appropriate frequencies

-Ensuring 100% compliance of Mitie related activities, and where necessary highlight any risks or concerns relating to compliance on the risk or concerns logs where works are aligned to sub contractors

-Assist with the asset management strategy and delivery of asset maintenance, assisting in lifecycle management responsible under the Mitie contract

-Assist with the SHE compliance for all relevant statutory and regulatory obligations for contractor works



Main Duties

-Manage subcontractor works on-site safely, ensuring compliance with client and Mitie's subcontractor control processes

-Act as a liaison between subcontractors, Mitie, and the client to ensure effective communication throughout all project phases

-Handle permits to work (PTWs) and ensure documentation is reviewed and archived for proper assurance

-Collaborate with subcontractors to ensure safety and compliance with RAMS

-Manage subcontractor work packs and ensure proper documentation

-Oversee site processes such as sign-in/out and ensure timely completion of work-related paperwork

-Attend TAP meetings to report contractor identities and activities

-Ensure appropriate training and competencies are in place for sub contractor attendees

-Carry out P-SIF validations as and when the risk profile of subcontractor works require

- Excellent understanding of statutory requirements in a technical environment

-Understanding and experience of working in a heavily regulated environment

- Experience of working in a challenging and fast paced environment

- Strong planning and organisational skills

-Understanding of risk management and HSE

- Good understand of a CAFM system, such as MERP, SAP, Maximo

- Excellent computer skills including all Microsoft products, etc

- IOSH Managing safely

- Customer care/relationship building skill

- Able to work as a member of a team

- Able to work without direct supervision

- Able to deal directly with customers in a professional manner and represent the compan

- Ability to manage and develop a team to provide a quality service

- Technically qualified to appropriate Electrical or Mechanically standard

- Hold current or aspirational F- gas qualification
