Safety & Risk Administrator – HMP Bronzefield
Join HMP Bronzefield as a Safety & Risk Administrator and play a key role in supporting a safe custodial environment for staff, prisoners, and visitors. You will provide essential administrative support to the Safety & Risk Team, helping to maintain compliance with health, safety, and fire regulations, while ensuring smooth operational processes across the prison.

Main ResponsibilitiesManage the Safety & Risk document control system and maintain accurate records.
Prepare and produce weekly and monthly safety and compliance reports.
Support Health & Safety and Fire audits, recording and monitoring activities to ensure compliance.
Cascade safety and fire information across the site, including supporting Toolbox Talks and Safe System of Work updates.
Assist with administration for fire safety equipment, training records, and monthly Safety & Fire Safety meetings.
Support the reporting process for health, safety, and fire incidents across the prison.

The Ideal CandidateProven experience in administrative roles with strong attention to detail.
Confident working collaboratively within a team and liaising with multiple stakeholders.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks effectively.
High level of integrity and professionalism when working in a secure environment.
Committed to equality, diversity, and inclusion within a custodial setting.
Desirable: Experience working in a secure or similar environment is advantageous.

Package DescriptionSalary: £24,570 + £3,729.24 per annum
Hours: Monday – Friday, 37.5 hours per week
