Summary
Allstaff Professional Services are delighted to be recruiting for an experienced Account Manager for well established company based in Coatbridge.
This is a full-time, permanent opportunity based onsite, working 8:00am – 4:30pm with a 30-minute lunch break. 40 hours per week with occasional travel to the UK and Europe.
This role combines independent work and collaboration to strengthen existing client relationships, create new opportunities and support business growth. The successful candidate will bring strong communication and organisational skills, along with a proactive approach to problem solving and technical business development.
The position offers the opportunity to build long-term partnerships, contribute to growth across UK and international markets, and continue developing technical sales expertise within a supportive and professional environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Achieve company sales targets by managing the full sales cycle, from initial lead generation through to closing.
Complete ongoing internal and external training to confidently provide technical specifications and guidance to customers.
Maintain and grow existing accounts while developing new opportunities through email, LinkedIn, meetings (virtual and face-to-face) and industry trade shows.
Build a strong network and develop close relationships with key contacts to support growth across the UK and international markets.
Attend, support and lead meetings, including delivering presentations when required.
Provide cover for colleagues within the Commercial team when needed.
Prepare and submit accurate monthly sales forecasts to management.
Report directly to the Business Manager.
Candidate Profile:
Able to manage and coordinate multiple projects, customers and stakeholders throughout the technical business development process.
Strong communication, negotiation and customer service skills, with a practical approach to problem solving.
Excellent analytical, organisational and time management abilities.
Confident with IT systems, including general computer and typing skills.
A proactive self-starter who works well independently and as part of a team.
Previous experience in technical sales or business development is desirable.
Willingness to take part in ongoing technical training, both internally and externally.
