Personal assistant required to support a 31 year old lady in the Stanley area.

Hours / wage

18 hours per week
£13 per hour
This would be spread over Monday to Saturday, varying hours each day, based on the activity.

The lady is registered blind and has mental health issues and autism, she needs someone accepting of these, also someone who plans well, as she needs structure.
Although she is a surprisingly independent person given this, she still needs supporting.

Duties

Duties would include attending appointments, general housework support, weekly grocery shop and other shop visits.
Visiting local coffee shops, places of interest, for example local beaches, historical places.
Help her to take her pet dog out on adventures and walks.

This lady enjoys good conversation, good laughs, and is an energetic and spiritual person, so would enjoy the company of someone with these interests also.


Needs to drive and have own vehicle.


Applicants must have a current DBS.The successful applicant can apply for a DBS if they do not currently have one, the cost of this will be covered.
