Cloud Engineer
Build the Future with K2 Dynamics
At K2 Dynamics, we don’t just manage infrastructure; we innovate. We are looking for a forward-thinking Cloud Engineer to help us manage, automate, and evolve our AWS ecosystem. If you’re passionate about Infrastructure as Code (IaC), serverless technology, and creating seamless digital experiences, we want to hear from you.
What We Offer You
We believe in rewarding our people with a package that supports both their professional growth and personal life:
Work-Life Balance: One paid volunteer day per year and exclusive discounts at major retailers and grocers.
Growth: Ongoing training and development tailored to help you reach your full potential.
What You’ll Be Doing
As a Cloud Engineer, you will be the backbone of our AWS infrastructure, ensuring high availability and driving innovation.
Infrastructure Management: Maintain and optimize AWS services including CloudFormation, EC2, Lambda, DynamoDB, and AWS Backup.
Innovation & Automation: Automate business processes using AWS tools and AI, while challenging conventional ideas through PaaS and Serverless solutions.
Problem Solving: Resolve complex customer issues via ServiceNow and conduct root cause analysis to reduce future incidents.
Cost & Performance: Manage infrastructure costs, oversee platform maintenance (patching/upgrades), and support contact center services via AWS Connect.
Resilience: Lead disaster recovery (DR) testing and participate in on-call arrangements to ensure 24/7 business continuity.
What We’re Looking For
Essential Experience
Education: A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience/relevant technical certifications).
AWS Proficiency: A solid understanding of AWS Cloud services (CloudFormation, EC2, Lambda, DynamoDB) and core networking (Direct Connect, VPNs, WAFs, VPCs).
Windows Server Expertise: 18+ months of experience supporting Windows Server 2016+ environments, including Active Directory, Group Policy, and DNS.
Automation Mindset: Proven experience with scripting (PowerShell/Python) and deploying Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
Soft Skills: Strong diagnostic abilities, excellent customer-facing skills, and the ability to thrive under pressure.
