We have an exciting opportunity to join our alliance with Clancy, Kier, and Anglian Water as a Customer Experience Specialist who will help us put customers at the heart of everything we do. This is an opportunity to shape how our projects are experienced by customers and communities across the region ensuring we leave a positive legacy while supporting Anglian Water’s ambition of achieving Delighted Customers.

The Role

As Customer Experience Specialist, you’ll play a key role in embedding customer and community priorities into project delivery. Working across operational teams and with external partners, you’ll ensure our communications are proactive, transparent and focused on what matters most to the people we serve.
You’ll act as the voice of the customer, using insight and data to influence decisions, drive improvements and ensure every interaction reflects Clancy’s commitment to excellence.

Here are some of the activities you’ll be involved in…

  • Partnering with project managers, construction managers and site teams to ensure customer considerations are integrated from planning through to completion.
  • Acting as the voice of the customer, using feedback and insight to influence decisions and enhance outcomes.
  • Managing customer enquiries and complaints, taking ownership to deliver high-quality, timely resolution.
  • Analysing feedback and performance data to identify trends and support continuous improvement.
  • Developing and delivering clear, effective engagement plans tailored to local audiences.
  • Supporting the delivery of social value initiatives that create meaningful, measurable community benefit.
  • Communicating confidently through face-to-face engagement, written updates and digital channels to keep customers informed.

We’d love to hear from you if…

You’re an effective relationship-builder, confident working within operational teams and alongside diverse stakeholders. You bring strong analytical skills, sound judgement and clear communication, with the ability to influence positively and challenge where needed to enhance customer outcomes. Experience in customer engagement, community relations or a similar field is advantageous. A full driving licence and flexibility to travel across the Anglian region are essential.
