The Trustees of the Kirkstead Education Trust are seeking an inspirational Headteacher who is passionate about high-quality teaching and high levels of achievement for every child at Hursthead Junior School in Cheadle Hulme. Your clear and purposeful leadership, innovative approach, and unerring determination will enable you to excel in this role, with both the support and challenge of the Trustees and Governing Board.
You will need to be able demonstrate you are:

An excellent communicator, building effective relationships with children, parents, staff, governors, trustees and the wider community
Resilient and able to meet the challenges of school leadership, with the ability to manage budgets effectively
Willing and able to lead new initiatives and share expertise with enthusiasm
Passionate about prioritising children’s safety, wellbeing, mental health and pastoral care
Outward facing and able to contribute to the strategic development of the school and the Trust
Currently in a senior leadership role in a primary school setting
Nurturing, empathetic, pragmatic and emotionally intelligent
Committed to developing an outstanding team through effective, stimulating and caring leadership
