The Governors at St John with St Mark CE Primary School are seeking to appoint an experienced, enthusiastic and nurturing Teaching Assistant (Level 2), Grade 6, to join our hardworking, friendly and dedicated school team. The ideal candidates will have recent experience of working as a Teaching Assistant, with children who have specific learning difficulties/special educational needs and will hold a Teaching Assistant Level 2 qualification (or above).

We are looking for a person who has:
- Proven outstanding experience/practice as a Level 2 Teaching Assistant who is passionate about inclusive learning and supporting children with special educational needs
- Experience of working 1:1 with pupils and in small groups, meeting their needs
- Experience of specific interventions matched to the needs of the pupil(s)
- Has a good understanding of the wide-ranging needs of children from a variety of backgrounds
- Be a strong team player who works hard
- Be willing to be fully involved in the life of the school and the community
- Be an excellent communicator with creativity and enthusiasm
- Has drive, energy, ambition and high expectations for all

The hours of work are 30 hours per week (8.45am-3.15pm, Monday-Friday), term time only, worked in accordance with service requirements.
