The Role Due to the expansion of our Nursery provision, the Trustees of Eagley Infant School Bolton are seeking to appoint an inspirational, enthusiastic, self-motivated and caring Teaching Assistant to join our nurturing, friendly team. The role will involve initially working in Early Years with children aged 2-4 years old. There may be future possibilities of working in the remainder of the school, with children up to age 7. About you We are looking for a teaching assistant who has:
Experience in working with children from 2-4 year olds
Good organisational skills and is highly motivated
Level 2 EYFS qualification essential
We are looking for a teaching assistant who will:
Work under the direction of a class teacher to raise the learning and attainment of pupils
Be friendly, caring, hardworking and supportive with high expectations
Promote pupils’ independence, self-esteem and social inclusion
Give support to pupils, individually or in groups, so they can access the curriculum, take part in learning, and experience a sense of achievement
Support the teaching of a broad and balanced curriculum aimed at pupils achieving their full potential in all areas of learning
Use effective behaviour management strategies consistently in line with the school’s policy and procedures
Organise and manage teaching space and resources to help maintain a stimulating and safe learning environment
Maintain confidentiality at all times
Safeguard pupil’s wellbeing and equality
Be resilient, positive, forward looking and enthusiastic about making a difference
Inspire, motivate and challenge children and young people
Work as part of a team to provide the best provision and learning activities for children in EYFS
