Investment Contract Manager

Salary: £53,888 - £67,360 per annum (salary offered dependent on experience) plus a Car Allowance of £2,329 per annum

Hours: 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday

Contract: Permanent

Location: Hybrid between our Mariner House, Dartford office and your home

Are you someone who thrives on building strong relationships, delivering high‑quality projects, and making a real impact? We’re looking for an Investment Contract Manager to play a key role in delivering our complex work programmes.

What you’ll be doing:

In this exciting role, you’ll be at the heart of our investment work. You’ll:

Take the lead on the day‑to‑day management of internal and external investment and refurbishment projects.
Deliver complex work programmes with confidence, clarity, and a focus on great outcomes.
Monitor contractor performance against KPIs and SLAs, ensuring projects are delivered on time, on budget, and to high-quality standards.
Build strong working relationships through regular contract review meetings with contractors and internal teams.
Tackle disputes or non‑compliance issues proactively, finding solutions that keep things moving.
Oversee contract budgets, spot opportunities for cost savings, and ensure value for money through effective procurement and benchmarking.
Review and approve contractor invoices in line with contractual requirements.
Keep on top of relevant legislation, building regulations, health and safety expectations, and industry best practice.
Engage with customers to ensure they’re happy with the work we deliver and involve them in shaping future services.
Work collaboratively with colleagues across the organisation to ensure seamless service delivery.
Support Contract Administrators by providing guidance and expertise.
Prepare reports for internal boards and groups, keeping them informed of progress and outcomes.
Identify and assess any operational risks, escalating emerging issues where needed.
