We're looking for a Project Officer Apprentice to join our Transportation Team based in Northampton, working towards a Level 4 apprenticeship in Associate Project Manager.
Transportation - Build and maintain infrastructure for the highways, rail, aviation and ports sectors, with a common goal of connecting people. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a leading construction and infrastructure services company on an apprenticeship. Whilst working towards a recognised qualification you'll be able to put your learnings into practice in your day-to-day role, helping you progress within your chosen career.
Location: Brixworth, Northamptonshire
Hours: 40 hours per week
Salary: £22,000
Start Date: September 2026

How does an apprenticeship work?
As a Project Officer Apprentice you'll be enrolled onto a Level 4 apprenticeship in Associate Project Manager, giving you the opportunity to earn whilst you learn. You'll work closely with the project team to support in the design, build and maintain infrastructure for the highways, rail, aviation and ports sectors, with a common goal of connecting people.
Your day to day will include:
-Help the Project Manager by being the point of contact on certain projects. You'll help keep clients, designers, builders, and other workers communicating and working well together so the project is successful
-Learn how to run projects to high standards by managing money, timelines, and schedules, while also making sure everything is safe, environmentally responsible, and good quality
-Take part in every stage of a project - from the very beginning planning stages, through building, all the way to finishing and handing it over
-Look for smarter, cheaper, or faster ways to design and build things without lowering quality, and keep track of any changes that happen
-Help spot problems or risks early and tell the right people when something needs attention before it becomes a bigger issue

-GCSE Maths and English grade 4 or above (or equivalent)
