Crynodeb
The Parent Infant Relationship Service is a North Northants Family Hubs commissioned partnership between the NHFT Best Start in Life Service and the NHFT Specialist Perinatal Mental Health Service, delivered through the Nurturing Families Pathway. The Parent and Infant Relationship Service (PaIRS) provides a short-term specialist intervention for parents who meet the inclusion criteria. The service will provide targeted, specialist therapeutic interventions that focus on early identification, strengthening parentinfant relationships and supporting secure attachment. A specific area of focus is working with fathers. It is designed to improve emotional well-being and long-term developmental outcomes for children by intervening during the critical early years.
