A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a skilled and dedicated Veterinary Surgeon to join a proudly independent, RCVS accredited small animal practice in the beautiful town of Chepstow!

This well regarded practice is known for its supportive culture, high clinical standards, and genuine commitment to both patient care and team wellbeing. The successful candidate will enjoy the reassurance of no sole charge, working alongside another experienced Veterinary Surgeon in a calm, collaborative environment.

This role is primarily consult focused, offering the chance to build strong client relationships and deliver exceptional continuity of care, with occasional involvement in inpatient wards depending on clinical needs. Based at the main branch of a two site practice, the role benefits from being at the heart of where consultations and the majority of surgical procedures take place, while hospitalised patients are cared for on-site in thoughtfully designed, separate cat, dog, and small furry wards to minimise stress and maximise comfort.

The practice boasts modern, comprehensive facilities designed to support high quality, well rounded veterinary care. These include an on-site laboratory for rapid diagnostics, digital X-ray, ultrasound, endoscopy, and dental equipment, as well as additional services such as hydrotherapy, physiotherapy, and acupuncture. This diverse clinical offering creates an engaging and rewarding environment for a vet who enjoys a varied caseload and a progressive approach to treatment.

Located in the highly desirable town of Chepstow, this role offers an enviable lifestyle alongside professional fulfilment. With its historic charm, independent shops, iconic castle, and the stunning Wye Valley on the doorstep, the area is perfect for those who enjoy outdoor pursuits and a strong sense of community. Excellent schools and transport links to Bristol and Cardiff make it particularly appealing for families and commuters alike. This is an ideal opportunity for a Veterinary Surgeon seeking a rewarding, low commitment weekend role within a friendly, forward thinking, and genuinely supportive practice.Top of Form
