Are you a passionate advocate for survivors of domestic abuse? Do you have the leadership skills to inspire and support a dedicated team making a real difference every day?
Clarion Housing Association is proud to deliver a range of accommodation and community-based services for victims of domestic abuse across Kent and Medway. We’re now looking for an experienced Team Leader to join our high-performing IDVA service in Kent.
You’ll lead a frontline team of IDVAs supporting high-risk victims of domestic abuse, particularly those referred through the Multi Agency Risk Assessment Conference (MARAC) process across Maidstone, Swale, Dartford, and Gravesham.
You’ll be responsible for:
• Supervising and supporting IDVA staff through case management, 1:1s, and performance monitoring.
• Managing a small caseload of clients with complex and multiple needs.
• Working closely with the IDVA Service Manager to ensure our service meets SafeLives’ Leading Lights quality standards.
• Champion a survivor-led approach, ensuring their voices inform every stage of support.
• Monitoring service quality and ensuring accurate data collection and timely submission of performance reports and casework records.
We’re looking for an experienced IDVA with:
• A deep understanding of domestic abuse and its impact on victims and children.
• Strong crisis management and safety planning skills.
• Experience working within safeguarding procedures and handling sensitive information.
• A recognised qualification (or working towards one) such as IDVA, ISVA, or ISAC.
• Proven experience in quality assurance and monitoring, with a keen eye for detail in data recording and reporting.
You’ll be calm under pressure, confident in decision-making, and committed to empowering both your team and the survivors you support.
