What skills and experience we're looking for
We are looking for a Senior Site Supervisor to join our dedicated premises team. You will play a vital role in ensuring our Academy remains safe, clean and a welcoming environment for students, staff and the wider community.
As an essential member of the team, the Senior Site Supervisor will:
• Demonstrate high expectations of yourself and others
• Lead site security, maintenance and day-to-day operations, ensuring the academy remains safe, compliant and ready for learning every day
• Manage and support the premises team, with oversight of cleaning staff
• Manage the opening and closing of premises, monitor alarm systems and act as a Fire Marshall during emergencies
• Identify defects, carry out minor repairs to fixture and fittings and assist with PAT testing and Legionella risk management
• Ensure outdoor areas are clear and safe (including snow and ice clearance), manage stock levels for hygiene materials and co-ordinate deliveries
• You will ensure that the site is secure, tidy and well maintained and presented, and that rooms are set out as per requests, and to adhere to health and safety requirements.
• Ability to use standard ICT packages
Out of hours work and flexibility with hours are required on occasions, more information is available on request. Key holder and on call duties will apply to this role.
You should enjoy working in a busy team environment and be flexible. Excellent communication and practical skills are essential, together with the ability to deliver a high-quality service.
