About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and proactive Site Manager to join our growing team based in Manchester. This is a permanent position overseeing commercial and industrial refurbishment projects across various locations. The role will involve managing works on-site and occasionally working away for short periods, depending on project requirements.
Site Manager Key Responsibilities
• Oversee day-to-day site operations on commercial and industrial refurbishment projects
• Manage subcontractors, suppliers, and site labour
• Ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget
• Maintain high standards of quality control and workmanship
• Ensure full compliance with health & safety regulations and company procedures
• Coordinate with clients, project managers, and internal teams
• Conduct site meetings and provide regular progress updates
• Manage site documentation, RAMS, and reporting requirements
Site Manager Requirements
• Proven experience as a Site Manager within commercial and/or industrial refurbishment
• Strong understanding of construction processes and site management
• Ability to manage multiple trades and subcontractors effectively
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• SMSTS, CSCS (Manager level), and First Aid (preferred/required as applicable)
• Full UK driving licence
• Willingness to work away from home for short periods when required
