Early Years Practitioner - Level 3 Qualified
Woodbourne Road Nursery, Douglas, Isle of Man
Full-Time - 4-Day Working Week - Year-Round
Hopes & Dreams Childcare Group is recruiting a qualified Level 3 Early Years Practitioner to join our team at Woodbourne Road Nursery in Douglas, Isle of Man.
This is a full-time, year-round position working four days per week from 8.00 am to 6.00 pm. Your additional day off rotates weekly. When your scheduled day off falls on a Friday, you will also be off on the following Monday, giving you a long weekend and enhanced work-life balance.
We are seeking a confident, committed practitioner with a full and relevant Level 3 Early Years qualification and a strong understanding of child development. You should be passionate about child-led, emotionally responsive practice and motivated to develop your skills within a high-quality setting.
Woodbourne Road is our largest nursery, supporting up to 77 children per day. As part of a well-established and growing childcare group, you will be joining a setting that values reflective practice, professional dialogue and continuous improvement.
This role offers more than day-to-day practice. You will have access to:
Ongoing CPD through our structured in-house training programme
Mentoring and leadership development opportunities
Clear progression pathways within a six-setting childcare group
Opportunities to contribute to curriculum development and quality improvement
A collaborative leadership structure that supports professional growth
Hopes & Dreams is a family-run organisation known for its strong team culture and long-term investment in staff. We are committed to building careers, not simply filling roles. Private medical insurance and discounted childcare are available.
Why relocate to the Isle of Man?
For professionals considering relocation, the Isle of Man offers a unique combination of career opportunities and quality of life. Commute times are short, communities are welcoming, and Douglas provides excellent amenities while remaining close to beaches, coastal paths and countryside.
Many Early Years professionals choose to relocate for the opportunity to build a fulfilling career within a supportive environment while benefiting from improved work-life balance, competitive tax rates and a strong sense of community.
Relocating can provide a fresh professional start within a stable, well-established organisation that values growth, wellbeing and long-term development.
Our ethos is simple: Happy Children, Positive Futures - and we believe that begins with investing in our people.
