Job Title: Children’s Support worker/Personal Assistant
Hours per week: 4 hours per week in term time (3 hours work plus one hour travel time).
Plus 8 hours per week in school holidays.
Ideally to be worked on a Saturday afternoon, Sunday, or evenings after school, but we can be flexible for the right applicant. Hours and days of work can be discussed further at interview.
Location: Llangernyw, Conwy
Rate of pay: £13.50 per hour
About me:
We are looking for a support worker to support our 10 year old daughter. To support her to access activities in the home and in the community to improve her independence, health and well-being. She enjoys a range of things, such as socialising, swimming and shopping. The objective will be to locate different activities which our daughter will enjoy and for her to gain confidence within herself. Experience of working in the care sector or previous experience of working with children would be an advantage, and willingness to travel with reliable transport.
Task and duties, to include any or all the following:
To accompany our daughter to chosen activities.
To be pro-active and liaise with your employer regarding potential activities, all to be agreed with both.
Any other duties not mentioned but that fall within the scope of this role should be discussed and then mutually agreed.
Undertake any further training, as mutually agreed.

Maintains confidentiality and respects the privacy of the family, including the prohibited use of social media in relation to the job role.
Can work flexibly, adapting to the variable requirements of this role as required.
