The Role:
As Operational Team Leader for Repairs and Maintenance service you will ensure the provision of a safe, efficient and cost-effective service stream on all areas of service delivery. You will ensure the team deliver a high quality of work, adhering to timescales set out in the contracts.
A fantastic opportunity to join the repairs and maintenance team at RMS is available, the successful person will be joining a team that delivers repairs to the councils 17,000 homes.
Key Responsibilities:
· Lead, coach and monitor a multi-disciplinary team to ensure high performance and effective service delivery
· Oversee the efficient use and management of plant, equipment and vehicles
· Take ownership of the processes, risk management, legal compliance and training of the team
· Meet with existing and new clients, customers and suppliers to deliver a high quality service
· Provide briefings and toolbox talks to the team
About You:
· Have a detailed understanding of workplace Health and Safety legislation
· Hold a Health and Safety qualification (SMSTS/IOSH)
· Experience of leading and managing a team
