Job Description:
As a Finance Assistant at Pitreavie Packaging, you will play a pivotal role in supporting our finance team with a range of key tasks, ensuring the smooth running of financial operations within the business. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build their career in finance within a dynamic and growing company.

Key Responsibilities:

*Processing of company purchase invoices and credit notes, and responsibility for supplier payment runs.

*Maintain and monitor company credit card spend.

*Assist with daily accounting functions, including data entry and reconciliation of accounts.

*Support the preparation of monthly management accounts and financial reporting.

*Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.

*Liaise with internal departments and external suppliers to resolve any financial discrepancies.

*Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes.

*Provide general administrative support to the finance team as required.

Skills and Experience:

*HNC / HND level in accounting (or equivalent) or qualified by experience.

*Previous experience in a finance assistant or similar role is desirable but not essential.

*Strong understanding of basic accounting principles.

*Excellent attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.

*Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel. Experience with accounting software is a plus.

*Strong organizational and time management skills.

*Good communication skills, with the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

*A proactive and enthusiastic approach to learning and development.
