We are currently seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Trainee Finance Assistant to join our growing team based in Cumbernauld. This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals with a keen interest in finance and a desire to learn and develop within a fast-paced manufacturing organisation.

About the Role:
As a Trainee Finance Assistant, you will be involved in various aspects of finance and accounting, including but not limited to:

- Assisting with daily financial transactions and reconciliations

- Supporting the preparation of financial reports

- Processing invoices and payments

- Reporting and analysing the financial spend of the business

- Assisting with budgeting and forecasting

- Providing administrative support to the finance team as needed


You will receive full training and guidance, and further qualification support may be provided to the right candidate. This role is perfect for someone eager to develop their skills and progress in their career.

About You:
The ideal candidate will have:

- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy

- Good communication and organisational skills

- The ability to work as part of a team

- A proactive attitude and willingness to learn

- Basic knowledge of Excel (or similar software) is desirable, but not essential

- Previous experience in a finance assistant or similar role is desirable but not essential.
