We are now seeking a number of people (with or without experience) to join our talented team of Health Care Assistants.
Home Instead has been recognised by the Financial Times as one of the top three employers in the UK. When you join us you just know that you will be treated with respect, continuously professionally developed, and encouraged to turn your job into a long term career.
We are flexible enough to be able to agree with you hours that suit both you and the clients. We will require you to work the agreed hours on alternate weekends, or every weekend if that is your choice.
We encourage applications from people who already work in Adult Care as well as those who like the idea of working with vulnerable people but have not yet obtained the necessary experience. Our training methods are second to none, you will be awarded a Certificate in Care once completed, and will be encouraged to gain further Professional Qualifications, if that is what you want.
From the moment you first contact us you will be dealing with me, I am Patricia Eagling, Talent Spotter for the Welwyn & Hatfield office. I will explain the requirements, take you through the Job Description and answer any questions you may have.
We are offering rates of pay between £12.75 to £13.40 (depending when you work). Plus travel expenses between £0.30 to £0.45/per mile, + you are paid when driving between clients + paid when training with us, both e-learning and workshops, + paid pension and holiday pay, + lots more benefits. All visits last a minimum of 1-hour.
We do require the following:
Valid UK driving licence and own car.
Able to work the agreed hours on alternate weekends.
Must reside locally and able to work within our franchise area.
Must have the Right to Work in the UK.
Must be reliable, with excellent communication skills, and a genuine desire to assist the elderly.
If you would like to hear more about the job that will change your life, and the opportunities offered, then contact me and forward your CV to:
pat.eagling@welwyn.homeinstead.co.uk
The office currently does not have a licence to issue a COS (Certificate of Sponsorship). We do not offer additional hours to those currently working under sponsorship with other organisations.
