Reception Teaching Assistant
- Location: Selly Oak, Birmingham, B29
- Weekly Pay: £480 - £500
- Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 am to 3:30 pm (term time only)
- Start Date: ASAP
- Contract: Long-term, Temp-to-Perm
We are seeking a caring and patient Reception Teaching Assistant to support whole-class learning in a welcoming primary school in Selly Oak. This role is offered on a long-term basis until the end of the academic year, with the potential to become permanent for the right candidate.
What the school is looking for:
- Qualifications: Level 2 or 3 Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools (or equivalent).
- Experience: Minimum of 1 year working in a Primary School or Preschool.
- Skills: Experience teaching phonics and supporting SEN ( ASD, Makaton, and/or PECS).
- Knowledge: A solid understanding of the EYFS curriculum.
