At M Group Highways, we’re supporting the safe transportation and movement of people across the UK.

You’ll be joining our Highways maintenance team, as the UK’s number one highway maintenance contractor, our teams use the latest innovations to create effective solutions. We offer a range of services including planned and reactive maintenance and highway improvement schemes.

What will you be doing?
- To be responsible for the delivery of a range of highway related specialist treatment and cyclic activities. Mainly Signs and Lines
- To ensure client expectations of individual works are achieved.
- Able to efficiently and effectively manage the supply chain in line with the Milestone Infrastructure Services HS&E policies.
- To work with the Works Coordinator to plan upcoming works and to ensure timely closing of orders.
- Liaise with the Coordinator regarding Permitting and Road-space bookings.
- To ensure all tasks are carried out in line with the programme, resources and that they are executed in accordance with specifications, drawings, dimensions and within agreed commercial limits.
- To supervise both self-delivery and supply chain delivered works.
- To ensure individual works are administered in accordance with NEC Contract.
- To ensure all tasks are carried out in accordance with Milestone processes and policies.
- To ensure sufficient resource is available for each stage of the works.
- Responsible for the onsite Health, Safety and Wellbeing of operational staff and ensure the works adhere with Environmental processes.
What you’ll bring
- Able to work to construction programmes.
- Able to demonstrate how Highway works are delivered whilst meeting health & safety, quality and environmental standards.
- Basic competence in use of general MS tools.
- Driving Licence.
- Minimum relevant qualification – SMSTS or HNC in relevant discipline.
- Demonstrate able knowledge of NEC Contract Administration and commercial awareness
- Demonstrate practical site skills in highway works management.
