    Clinical Exposure

    RVNs gain hands-on experience across a wide range of disciplines, including:

    • Advanced imaging: MRI, CT, DR, ultrasound (abdominal, cardiac, ophthalmic, musculoskeletal)


    • Complex surgery: soft tissue, orthopaedics, endoscopy, arthroscopy


    • Dentistry with DR radiography


    • Medical nursing from routine to highly complex hospital cases


    • Adjunctive therapies: physiotherapy and hydrotherapy


    • Advanced cardiology with experienced cardiac ultrasonographers


      Facilities include separate dog, cat and exotic wards, over 40 inpatient kennels, and a dedicated isolation unit.

      Hours & Rota
      • 40 hours per week, worked over 4 days


      • Shift pattern between 7am–8pm


      • 1 in 13 weekends


      • No nights


      • Strong culture of leaving on time


      • Paid 30-minute lunch break (guaranteed)


      • Bank holidays shared on a rota


      • Free on-site parking available


        Salary & Benefits
        • £30,000 - £37,000 for RVNs with some experience


        • 35 days annual leave (equivalent to almost 9 weeks on a 4-day week)
